Travis's journey in the construction industry began at a young age, influenced by his upbringing in a large family and his father's career in construction.

In his early twenties, Travis married and started working as a framing contractor. Realizing he was trading time for money, he decided he wanted more for his family. Travis founded Core Building Company. His determination was unwavering, even working 80-hour weeks, juggling his framing job during the day and building his business at night.

By the age of 31, Travis had achieved significant success, only to be humbled by the 2008 financial crisis, which wiped out his business. This challenging period taught him invaluable lessons in humility and resilience. Starting over from scratch, Travis rebuilt his company with a newfound wisdom and a commitment to creating a better future.

Travis’s vision for Core Building Company is rooted in quality. He understands that in order to rise above the competition, Core must offer a product like no other. Travis’s commitment is at the heart of every home; quality from the ground up, timeless craftsmanship, and a trusting relationship with not only clients, but with contractors, Realtors, and banks.

Outside of work, Travis is a devoted family man.
